
Aromatherapy Massage
A sensuous body massage using essential oils blended for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each individual.
Essential oils have been used throughout the ages for their scent and for their therapeutic qualities. For example:
- Rose
- 'The queen of flowers' is considered to produce the finest quality essence. It's excellent for inflamed or dehydrated skin. It is said to help bring about a sense of feeling emotionally secure.
- Lemon and Grapefruit
- Are cooling, cleansing and decongesting
- Patchouli
- Popular in the 60s and 70s – Patchouli oil helps to rejuvenate the skin and can help those in need of grounding.
- Lavender
- Is probably the best-known and widely used essential oil. It’s relaxing and usually the first choice for insomnia and anxiety.
- Marjoram
- Can be used for many things but its analgesic properties make it excellent for muscular stiffness and pain.
A blend of essential oils will be chosen for each clients needs. A safe and supportive aromatherapy massage soothes tension and enables a sense of both emotional and physical well being.
An aromatherapy massage session lasts 60 minutes.
